Me and The Whirling Dervish

So I took my anger and energy and went to my park. To reclaim space from terrorists and the sun before humidity. As I approached the field I felt safest at, I saw a Whirling Dervish. I sat and chanted as he danced.

Black/Loving 🖤🤍🤎

You are safe

Beside me/

And if love

Were a verb

You’d do kindly/

To open your

Your heart

It’d be blinding/

I keep a window open

Slide between the screen

If you want to be seen

I hold a space

Big enough

For everything you carry

For the dark and scary/

You are safe

Beside me

Ganesha Cards: #1 Beginnings

From Whispers of Lord Ganesha by Angela Hartfield

Endings precede beginnings. Or is it the other way around? Whatever you must give up or however you draw boundaries, know that newness 🌱 springs from seeds planted well below the light.

The text reads: At the start of every endeavor, you will find Ganesha. This is an indication of new energy on the horizon that brings open hearted opportunities. Pay attention to where you are going.A new beginning can sometimes have a deeper spiritual significance encouraging a different consideration or a fresh approach to how you connect with your inner guidance. With awareness comes understanding.

One benefit of this new start maybe the opportunity to stay true to your own path and guidance.

Release the need to try to bring others into your vision. Trust yourself and be willing to do the work needed at this time. Your inspiration is positive. Creativity, finances, and love are flowing just before you. Ask Ganesha to assist you with the new energy and opportunities ahead of you.

The Future

I’m not going to discuss what each card represents or means. This time I’ll allow you to do that. Comment or Question. Or just sit with it.🧘🏽‍♀️ Be well.
